Welcome to the Purdue Neurotrauma Group (PNG) website. PNG is a collaborative neurotrauma research group that combines expertise in clinical diagnosis and care, biomechanics, and neuroimaging.
Our mission is to identify causes of mild traumatic brain injury, permitting early intervention and the fastest recovery possible.
For both sports medicine and the military, our goal is to achieve early identification of increased risk of brain injury so that individuals may be treated promptly and quickly return to participation/service.
We are in it to win it, seeking to maximize participation while minimizing risk of long-term injury
